Community Development Tackles Tough Problems
On May 22, 2010 Gubernatorial Candidate Forum was hosted by the Homeowners Hurricane Insurance Initiative and the Alabama Christian Coalition to get candidates' views on the hurricane insurance crisis on costal residents. Area pastors kept the notes of what each candidate said on large "covenant boards" behind each candidate. The Forum was held at the Gathering Place in Spanish Fort, AL. and about 200 concerned residents were in attendance. To learn more about the Hurricane Inusrance Initiative click here
