When many are marginalized each day...we need to STEP FORWARD. When the gap between the haves and have-not's widens...we need to STAND TOGETHER. Because there is potential in every member of the human family...we need to LET OUR VOICES BE HEARD.
Today, our community needs EMI more than ever. And because we face such an unstable, unpredictable world...hunger, poverty, national disasters, funding cuts, rising prices...EMI needs our community more than ever.
We respectfully ask for your support in "helping people help themselves."
What Can I Do?
There are so many things you can do to help us accomplish our mission here at EMI.
- Contact us to make a monetary donation
- From cargo vans to toys, your donated goods are invaluable in allowing us to allocate other resources directly to our programs
- Volunteer!!! Donating your time to an EMI event or program is rewarding and enables us to further stretch our program dollars

$ 945 Provides a year's worth of meals for a homebound senior citizen
$ 500 Covers the cost of a Home Repair job for a low-income senior citizen or disabled homeowner
$ 300 Helps prevent a family in crisis from being evicted from their home
$50 Provides an individual an opportunity to participate in leadership training and/or safe housing counseling for a day
